Loc Ironwood

Loc Ironwood (they/them) is a Certified Peer Specialist. Voted peer of the year in 2020, Loc comes from an immigrant family and is second generation West Indian. Loc comes with 15 years of on the ground experience. They have had to navigate state and federal systems for themself and for others. Loc is seasoned in community organizing, clinical peer support, and research. Their research has been included in the 2024 MASS-STEP conference where they were a finalist.
Loc is passionate about social justice, the LGBT community, and black and brown struggles. Loc meets many intersections, and their perspective is indicative of such.
